Ryan’s Newborn Pictures | Sugar Land + Richmond + Houston Photography

Ryan was a perfect baby while posing for so many pictures, and I just love all the different hats!! There were a few different days of pictures here.

The first picture is from Sugar Land Methodist Hospital where Ryan was born on February 22nd at 9:32 AM, coming in at 7 lbs 12 ounces and 20 1/2″ long.

The rest of the pictures include crocheted hats from Handmade by Chhunneang (Houston Texans and Cowboy hats), and Desert Diamond Croche (Valentines Day, and both St Patrick’s Day hats). Fortunately for Ryan, his older brother is a big Texans fan so he let him borrow his mascot  doll (Toro) for his Texans picture. And just to stop any confusion, the Cowboy hat and boots are just that, a cowboy hat a boots, not to be at all affiliated with the Dallas Cowboys!!:-)

Ryan just missed Valentine’s Day, so we found it fitting to use the Valentine’s hat with hearts, and St. Patrick’s day was just around the corner so that holiday needed to be included as well! The Mike Wazowski hat from Monster’s, Inc.was just too cute to pass up!!

The birth announcement was sent out as a magnet to make it easy to put on the refrigerator. I created the announcement from scratch for Ryan’s pictures.

Please enjoy the pictures!

Brady turns 3! | Sugar Land + Richmond + Houston Photography

My son Brady turned 3 years old! Kids grow up so fast don’t they? It was hard for me to believe how old he looks for only being three years old, but then at his three year appointment we were told he is in the 95th percentile for height (taller than 95% of kids his age) so now I guess he really does look big!

We took Brady to Telfair to capture some photographs. Sugar Land has several great locations for taking photographs, there are even several places just within Telfair. This is his first photo shoot where he actually listened to me:-)  In the past we’ve just had to capture him doing his own thing, but its nice for him to be at an age where he is able to take some direction, even if just the smallest amount, not bad for a toddler!
